Tutorials and guided coding sessions can be a great way to start learning how to program. They’re a safe way to quickly see how to create and do tasks for a particular type of project or program.
But too often aspiring developers have trouble applying the tutorial skills to actually making something on their own. They get stuck, relying on tutorials, without making any actual progress.
This early access course I’m putting together gives you a community and guided steps to help you break out of this trap.
Each week, you will get an assignment and exercises that teach you how to effectively learn from tutorials. I’ve used this approach to quickly learn and start creating in my software development jobs as well as my personal projects.
There are no set class times, so you can do the assignments at your own convenience, and I’m available to answer any questions and offer advice on your work and goals.
Your feedback will help shape the final form of this course, and you’ll have lifetime access to the finished course.
